How anxiety occurs in children is different compared to adults and it has its own symptoms, but we must note that we should not ignore children's anxiety easily and leave anxious children alone.

Genetic factor is one of the most important causes of anxiety in children. Also, conflict with peers, family problems and arguments between parents, fear of being separated from parents or friends or changing the place of life are factors that can cause anxiety in children.

Symptoms of stress and anxiety are not worrisome if they are small, but if these symptoms increase, parents are advised to consult a child specialist about their child and seek the opinion of a psychiatrist and a psychologist, because this anxiety can continue into adulthood. find.

All children experience anxiety and restlessness. Most of the time, a normal child is expected to spend a lot of time in excitement, restlessness and curiosity. For example, children have special concerns and anxiety when they are separated from their parents for 9 months of the year to go to school. In the case of younger children, this state sometimes turns into fear. (such as fear of the dark, of storms, of animals or of big and strong things). If these kinds of behaviors such as separation from parents, cheerfulness at school and finding friends are included in children's actions before these emotions start, parents can easily explain their values to children when it happens and convince them. This method was suggested by old psychologists. One type of these anxieties and worries, which is called fear of separation, is in dire need of treatment and care for its symptoms:

1. Having constant fear about the health and safety of your parents 2. Refusal to go to school 3. Constant heartaches or complaints of other physical pains 4. Extreme worries, time to sleep
5. Being dependent and dependent on others 6. A lot of fear and panic at the time of separation from parents 7. Being scared or having nightmares during sleep

Another type of worry and anxiety is when the child is afraid of something special, for example, of dogs, insects or any other special thing, and this fear causes stress and excitement in the child's life. Sometimes, some of these children are afraid of seeing or talking to new and unknown people. These children can hardly find new friends or communicate with anyone other than their family members. Other children who suffer from these anxieties maybe:

1. They have a lot of worries about anything before it happens.
2. They are stressed about going to school, making friends and doing sports 3. They have confused thoughts and nervous reactions (mental preoccupation). 4. They are afraid of making a mistake.
5. They have very little self-confidence.

Children who have stress and anxiety experience many tensions and worries. Their worries sometimes reach such a level that they are no longer able to do anything or make decisions or even think about the issues around them. Anxious children are often silent, nervous, complaining, unhappy and impatient children. And they often have problems about everything. The parents of these children should be very alert and pay attention to the signs of nervousness and anxiety in their children, so that after recognizing them quickly and on time, they can prevent the development of these states. It is very important to quickly reduce fear and anxiety in children.

If by focusing on your child's behavior you find anxiety and worry in him, quickly consult a child and adolescent specialist and psychologist who has the necessary experience and skills in mental health and its treatment. with special care; Eliminate anxiety and stress problems in your children. These cares will soon prevent the emergence of problems, such as lack of friendship with others, failures and social and internal shocks, severe lack of self-confidence in the future. These cares consist of individual psychotherapies, family treatments and psychotherapies, behavioral care and counseling at school.
