Excessive use of electronic devices with the title that it is necessary and obligatory is completely wrong, and just as we have to follow many rules in using vehicles to reach our destination safely and on time, here too we have to be extremely careful to preserve the health of our body, which is the greatest gift of God and is placed in our hands as a trust, because just like driving, arriving late is better than never arriving.

From the health point of view, the use of electronic systems such as smart mobile phones and tablets and similar devices should be considered from two aspects. The first aspect is the relationship between the use of these devices and the direct effects of these devices on the main and target organ, i.e. the eye and the visual system, and the second aspect, beyond eye health, is the effect of these devices on the general health of the whole body, which is much more important than the first aspect. Many and almost all people, when we talk about the negative effects and side effects of mobile phones and similar devices, think that these side effects are only limited to the eyes and the visual system, when this is not the case, and the eye is only one of the body's parts that suffer from problems and damage, but in general, the incorrect use of these devices has negative and serious and irreparable effects on the whole body's health. Inappropriate and excessive use of mobile phones and similar devices will directly affect the eyes and vision system. These side effects are divided into short term side effects and long term side effects. Short-term side effects include: eye fatigue, burning and redness of the eyes, and finally lack of concentration and headache. Short-term side effects are annoying side effects that cause discomfort to a person, although these side effects are a prelude to long-term side effects, but they can be improved by observing some points. And if the changes in the curvature of the cornea are severe, it causes keratoconus, and this keratoconus itself sometimes in severe degrees may cause a person to use glasses, hard contact lenses and sometimes surgery due to vision loss, and in some cases, despite the prescription and use of glasses, contact lenses and surgery, the vision may be irreparably reduced. The main reason that almost all welders suffer from cataracts is the presence of blue and ultraviolet light in welding, which is present in mobile phones and similar devices on a smaller scale.
