سایه ظلم تربیتی
هر انسانی میراث دار گذشتهای است که در سلولهای روانیاش حک شده؛ A past full of experience, relationship, words and silence. But among all these experiences, what is rooted in the psyche more than anything else is childhood education. The shadow of educational oppression is a concept derived from Jung's analytical psychology, which deals with the hidden and suppressed dimensions of human personality; But this time, from a more subtle angle: the cruelty that is applied in the form of love, upbringing, or even parental concern to "make a person" of the child, and the child inevitably swallowed it, internalized it, and made it a part of his psyche.
The hidden wound in the psyche and the way out
What is the shadow and why does education shape it?
Carl Gustav Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist and the founder of analytical psychology, considered the shadow to be a part of the human unconscious, which includes the characteristics that a person does not accept and suppresses (Jung, 1959). Now, if during childhood, the parents or the educational system suppressed the feelings, desires, or even the natural characteristics of the child with labels such as "rude", "stubborn", "weak", or "bad", these components are banished to the shadows. In this way, education does not act as a way of growth, but as a factor of shadow formation.
Interpsychic conflicts and its origin in educational oppression
A child who has repeatedly heard "you shouldn't cry, a man who doesn't cry" or "shut up, adults are talking", learns to deny his feelings. This child later suffers from internal psychological conflicts; It means an endless war between his inner parts. On the one hand, he has anger, but on the other hand, he has learned that anger is "bad". These contradictions lay the foundations of psychological disorders such as anxiety, obsession, depression and personality disorders (Schimmenti & Caretti, 2016).

The parent within the critic
Continuation of educational oppression in the psyche of adulthood
One of the most important consequences of the shadow of educational oppression is the formation of an internal structure called the Inner Critical Parent. This inner voice is a reflection of the parents who scolded, humiliated or controlled the child with the intention of "fixing" him. The adult now, even without the presence of the parents, reproduces their voices inside him:
"You always mess things up."
"You're not good enough."
"You should not rest yourself, you will be lazy."
This inner critic hinders self-love, creative growth and personal success and is one of the most important obstacles to psychotherapeutic growth (Young et al., 2003).

Psychotherapy, especially psychodynamic and analytical approaches, helps a person to bring unconscious content to the conscious level. This means: One of the important tools in this direction is working with the inner child; A part of the psyche that still holds the feelings and beliefs of childhood. By accepting and caring for this child, one can begin a deep healing process that not only illuminates the shadow, but also provides a way to recreate one's identity without the dominance of past oppression (Bradshaw, 1990).The role of psychotherapy in recognizing and getting rid of the shadow of educational oppression
Examples of hidden cruelty in apparently healthy upbringing
1. Constant comparison with others: "Look how good your cousin is at school!" → creating a sense of worthlessness
2. Shame for natural feelings: "Don't be afraid of anything! A man who is not afraid!" → Suppression of fear and vulnerability
3. Education based on performance and grades: "If you don't make 20, I don't love you anymore!" → conditioning of love and acceptance
4. Humiliation in front of others: "You don't understand anything, shut up!" → The formation of chronic shame

Hypnoanalysis: Getting to the Unconscious Roots of Educational Oppression
One of the most effective methods for exploring the deep layers of the psyche and recreating repressed childhood experiences is hypnoanalysis; A combination of hypnotherapy and psychoanalysis that provides access to memories and emotions that are buried in the deep layers of the unconscious because of the intensity of the pain. In the context of the shadow of educational oppression, hypnoanalysis helps the therapist to return to the initial moments when the feeling of shame, humiliation, worthlessness or fear was formed due to wrong educational behaviors by guiding the therapist in the hypnotic state. This re-encounter with the wounded inner child leads to the recognition of the source of the formation of the shadow and parent of the inner critic and provides the basis for the reintegration of these rejected parts and the restoration of authentic self-esteem (Brown & Fromm, 1986).
A few last words: Freedom from oppression is possible with the light of awareness
Getting rid of the shadow of educational oppression is a journey from ignorance to awareness. Only by carefully recognizing these hidden parts can one recover one's authentic voice and be freed from the clutches of the inner critic, repressed anger, and toxic shame. This liberation is not only the path to mental health, but also the path to the authenticity of existence and real growth.
