Dr. Bahram Ali is a cardiologist and a superspecialist fellowship in angioplasty. He was born in Shiraz, studied at the National Center for Brilliant Talents in Shiraz and entered the medical school with the 22nd rank in the national entrance exam in 1379. In 2006, he graduated from Shiraz Medical School with the first rank and immediately started his cardiology residency at the Shahid Rajaei Heart Center in Tehran. After that, he has been practicing medicine as a cardiology specialist in Bahman, Kian, Naft, Prophetan and Nikan hospitals in Tehran since 2010. In 1391, as a full-time academic staff of Fasa University of Medical Sciences, he has been teaching medicine and also training medical students, and at the same time as the establishment of the Research and Technology Vice-Chancellor in that university, he has founded and directed several important and national demographic studies. (Persian Cohort Study, Youth Cohort Study, Heart Attack Registry, Heart Failure Registry) In 2015, after setting up the angiography department, visiting and caring for more than 20,000 patients, including more than 16,000 people in national health studies and participating in the training of 200 medical students, Dr. Bahram Ali entered the subspecialty fellowship course in angioplasty and after that, he has been working full-time at Kausar Shiraz Hospital since 2017. Currently, he is a member of the affiliated academic staff of the Research Institute of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Research Activities Dr. Bahram Ali's first research paper was published in 2005 on liver transplant patients. After that, in a joint research with Dr. Haqjo, they have introduced a new diagnostic criterion for some types of cardiac arrhythmia. In the following years, he has published several original research articles focusing on genetic factors affecting heart diseases and blood pressure. In recent years, he has published the results of major studies of the country, of which he is the main researcher and founder, and hopes that the results of these studies will lead to the improvement of the health situation in the country. Recently, together with Dr. Mahmoud Tabandeh, they founded the Non-Communicable Diseases Research Center of Fars Heart Foundation to seriously continue their efforts to improve the treatment of heart patients and increase the level of public health.
