Diagnosis of false pregnancy
What is null pregnancy?
A null pregnancy or null egg occurs when the placenta grows alone without an embryo. In some cases, even placenta growth faces problems.Absurd pregnancy symptoms
In a null pregnancy, the result of the pregnancy test is positive, but the person does not have the usual symptoms of pregnancy. Also, the pregnancy sac can be seen in the ultrasound, but there is no fetus in it.
The gestational sac is a small part of the uterus that can be seen in early pregnancy and the fetus is placed in it.
In the 6th to 8th week of pregnancy, if the heartbeat of the fetus is not heard, the pregnancy is null or molar.
Diagnosis of null pregnancy
Other symptoms of false pregnancy include the following:
- Rapid growth of the uterus: In null pregnancy, the uterus grows rapidly, in fact, the uterus is much larger than normal.
- Pre-eclampsia: Pregnancy toxicity is another symptom that increases the mother's blood pressure and protein excretion from the urine after the 20th week of pregnancy.
- Ovarian cyst Anemia Hyperthyroidism
· increased blood pressure
- Brown and bright red bleeding from the vagina in the first trimester of pregnancy
- Pain in the lower abdomen
- Pelvic pains
· Removal of cysts similar to grape cluster
The main symptom of false pregnancy is the disappearance of pregnancy symptoms. When a null pregnancy occurs, the pregnancy test is still positive, but since the null pregnancy does not last long, a miscarriage occurs and the pregnancy symptoms suddenly decrease or disappear.
There are two types of null pregnancy:
Partial 1: The placenta is partially normal, but the fetus has grown abnormally and uncoordinated.General 2: none of the placenta and embryos have developed normally and have been destroyed.
The cause of null pregnancy
About 50% of abortions in the first three months of pregnancy are due to null pregnancy.
Disturbance in the number and shape of chromosomes causes problems in the egg cell and finally an embryo sac is formed in the uterus, but it does not have an embryo pole or an umbilical sac.
Having a history of false pregnancy greatly increases the probability of this condition occurring again.
Amniocentesis and chorionic biopsy tests can also cause miscarriage.
Pregnancy at very old and very young age also increases the possibility of false pregnancy;
In general, the probability of false pregnancy is higher in women over 40 and under 20 than others.
Uterine and cervix problems are also one of the causes of false pregnancy.
Absurd pregnancy symptoms
· Due to the increase in the level of hormones, menstruation falls behind.
· Over time, the mother still thinks she is pregnant and has pregnancy symptoms such as fatigue or nausea. But when the growth of the placenta stops, the level of hormones decreases and the symptoms of pregnancy disappear.

Diagnosis of false pregnancy
Empty pregnancy is diagnosed when ultrasound shows an empty uterus.
Other ways to diagnose false pregnancy are a pelvic examination by a gynecologist and blood tests to measure the amount of pregnancy hormones to determine the possibility of placental remnants after abortion.
Abnormal pregnancy eventually leads to spontaneous abortion.
If there is no spontaneous abortion, the patient will be referred to a doctor for surgery or drug treatment.
Of course, in this case, you can speed up the process of abortion by taking medication or use suction curettage or dilatation and curettage (D&C) to remove the tissue.
Another way to treat this disease is to remove the uterus (hysterectomy).
Absurd pregnancy complications
· It is possible to have some residual placenta or gestational sac after a null pregnancy and grow it in the uterus.
· Hormone levels may remain high after a false pregnancy.
· There is a possibility of penetration of the empty tissue into the uterine wall and causing vaginal bleeding.
prevention of false pregnancy
Non-pregnancy cannot be prevented in most cases, but performing genetic tests before pregnancy on both men and women can help to prevent null pregnancy because null pregnancy is usually caused by chromosomal problems. Doctors recommend that after the first miscarriage, you take a break of 12 regular periods for the second pregnancy, so that the body has enough time to recover. In the second pregnancy, if the heartbeat can be heard, you can rest assured that you had a successful pregnancy, but it is better to do the scan 6 to 8 weeks after the pregnancy, so that if there is a problem, you can solve it sooner.
