11 weeks pregnant: symptoms, tips and more
Your physical changes
It may be hard to believe that you've been carrying a human fetus inside you for almost three months....Most moms don't show their pregnancy for the first time until the 11th week....but if you've had a previous pregnancy, you may have already enjoyed the "baby bump"....Even if your bump hasn't appeared, you probably feel like you have great hair....and stronger nails, you're one of the lucky ones.... Unwanted hair, for example on the face, is equally common.
Your child
Your fetus is about 1.5 to 2.5 inches long at 11 weeks....Most of this length is in the head, which is about half its total length at this point....Your baby's reproductive system is completing this week, although it won't be visible on most ultrasounds until weeks 16-20....If you can't wait to find out your sex....a heavy weight, your baby is a girl....Cold feet may mean you're having a Boy....although these are popular sayings, there's a reason they're called "myths"....there's little (if any) scientific evidence to support any of them.
Development of twins in the 11th week
If you're wondering if you're having a boy, a girl, or both, you'll be happy to know that your babies' reproductive systems are forming this week.... Your babies are about 2 inches long and weigh a third of an ounce each.
Symptoms of pregnancy in the eleventh week
Morning sickness is probably the most well-known symptom of the first trimester, but it's not the only one you may experience... Other symptoms you may experience by week 11 include:
- Lighter skin
- Fuller hair and stronger nails
- spot on the face
- Unwanted hair growth
- Heartburn
- Painful or large breasts
- Nausea and/or vomiting
- fatigue
- Heartburn
If you've never had morning sickness, you're most likely dealing with heartburn.. In one study, researchers found that 95% of pregnant women experienced nausea, vomiting, or heartburn during pregnancy. These are two of the most common symptoms of pregnancy, but they are generally safe for both mother and baby. Experience this annoying symptom during your pregnancy.
If this is the case for you, the best way to treat it is to prevent it before it happens....Try to eat several small meals instead of one big meal....Avoid lying on the couch or lying down right after a meal....Or if heartburn prevents you from eating anything, ask your doctor about safe antacids.

Painful or enlarged breasts
Some women may welcome this change, but others may find it an annoying inconvenience, especially when your bra no longer fits and the slightest touch causes you to recoil in pain... Maternity clothing stores are usually well-versed in this area, and sales associates can advise you on how your breasts will grow at the end of pregnancy and even breastfeeding (but not guarantee how much they can grow).
What to do this week to have a healthy pregnancy
Now is a difficult time to think about healthy things, especially if you feel nauseous all the time....If you struggle with nausea or heartburn symptoms, you might look for any food that won't make you nauseous or drive you to the bathroom....you may even have lost a few pounds at this point..fruits are hard for you and choose fruits that you can tolerate....start small...if you can at this point Include one or two in your diet, it's good.
Once the nausea is gone, you can focus on adding more nutritious foods to your diet.... If you have morning sickness, exercise can also be challenging, but it can help relieve fatigue and is good for you and your baby... Look for easy activities that you can fit into your schedule...for example, try a 15-minute walk during the day.>
When to call a doctor
Vaginal bleeding or fluid leakage, as well as fever, severe abdominal pain or headache, and blurred vision, should always call a doctor...Also, if your nausea or heartburn is so severe that you can hardly keep liquids or food in your stomach for 12 hours or more, you may need to discuss this with an obstetrician.
