In the ward, nurses will take care of you. After usually 4 to 8 hours, you will be helped to get out of bed and start moving. If you experience pain, the nurses will give you painkillers. After 24 hours, you will be seen by a doctor and usually you will be discharged from the hospital.
In pregnancy, sonography is used to diagnose and follow the development of the fetus, check the health of the mother and the fetus, and determine the pregnancy history. This test is performed in different weeks of pregnancy and may be repeated more than once if needed.
Drugs
All the necessary medicines, including painkillers and antibiotics, will be prescribed for you if necessary. Varicose socks will also be prescribed for you, which should be worn during the day for 7 days, and it is not necessary to use them at night. After discharge and going home, you can take a shower and remove your dressing under the shower.
At this time, wash the wound with soap and water. After leaving the bath, dry the wound with a warm hair dryer. Since the hand is one of the most germ-rich places on the body, avoid touching the wound completely for the first seven days. After drying the wound with a warm hair dryer, apply a small amount of Betadine on the wound area with cotton. Continue this process of bathing and caring for the wound for seven days.
Caesarean section
After the caesarean section, until your stomach does not work, avoid eating bulky, solid and flatulent foods. At this time, it is better to use watery foods that are not flatulent, such as strained soup without beans. After working the stomach, you are free to use food. Immobility and too much rest during the first seven days of childbirth cause clots to form in the legs as well as in the lungs, which can even lead to the death of the mother. Consume a lot of fluids in these seven days.
