Use of stairs after knee joint replacement surgery

Remember that after joint replacement, climbing stairs is one of the main exercises in the postoperative period. Inability to climb stairs after surgery indicates that the patient did not perform the necessary exercises well. Since the articular cartilage is replaced with metal, there is no longer any risk of arthrosis worsening. Therefore, it is recommended that patients regularly practice going up and down stairs after joint replacement in their rehabilitation program.
