Eruption of teeth =======================
The growth of the first baby teeth, i.e. the two teeth in the middle of the lower jaw, starts at around 6 months of age. The normal time for baby teeth to grow is between 5 and 7 months. However, a baby's teeth may grow earlier than the stated time. For example, when the child is one month old or the teeth may come out later than the stated time, and when the child is 1.5 years old, which is normal.
Typically, teething does not require help or treatment. However, sometimes a child's restlessness or crying may worry parents. The first sign of tooth eruption is the gradual reddening of the gums at the site of tooth eruption. The child may become restless and sensitive. They put their hand or any object around them in their mouth. Their saliva increases, they lose their appetite and avoid eating, they cry a lot and they don't sleep. Sometimes they may have a mild fever. (Symptoms such as diarrhea are not considered teething symptoms because there is no scientific evidence to prove the connection between the two phenomena). Massage the gum with a clean finger to calm the child.
Gently massaging the gum or placing a cold metal such as the back of a spoon can help calm the child. You can wrap a small piece of ice in a clean cloth and place it on the inflamed gum. It should be done carefully and carefully.
Sometimes the child may feel better by biting a piece of bread or a hard object. There are special plastic rings for this problem that you can put in the refrigerator and then let the baby bite on them.
### Care for the baby during teething
Be careful to prevent the child from swallowing these objects which can lead to suffocation. If the pain persists, the dentist can relieve the pain by prescribing medication. When the tooth appears in the mouth, all pain and discomfort disappear.
A child grows 4 teeth approximately every 6 months, and by the age of 3, the child will have 20 milk teeth, that is, 10 teeth in the upper jaw and 10 teeth in the lower jaw. Some parents are concerned about the distance between baby teeth and ask if it is normal or not, there is nothing to worry about. Because this space is normally seen between the posterior baby teeth in the upper and lower jaw.
Remember that baby's baby teeth are very valuable because the baby needs strong and healthy baby teeth to be able to chew, speak and look beautiful. Baby teeth are vital in chewing and feeding a child in the growing age. Not having milk teeth can lead to malnutrition in children, also not having posterior milk teeth can cause problems in the child's speech. Since the tongue must touch these teeth in order to pronounce a word. In addition, baby teeth in children help to maintain the space needed for permanent teeth.
### Premature loss of baby teeth
If your child loses his milk teeth before the right time, take your child to the dentist to maintain the place of the missing milk tooth with a device called a spacer. This tool does not allow the adjacent teeth to move to this place and preserves the space for permanent teeth to grow. Otherwise, the adjacent baby teeth may be moved to the dental space and prevent the growth of permanent teeth and lead to crowded teeth in the child.
There are two types of space retainers, mobile and fixed. When your child turns 5, explain to him that losing baby teeth is normal. When their teeth start to fall out, it prevents them from getting upset.
#### Eruption of the first permanent tooth
The first permanent tooth grows at the age of 6 or 7, which is the first molar of the lower jaw that grows behind the baby teeth. Over time, other permanent teeth grow and around 11 to 13 years old, all milk teeth fall out and are replaced by permanent teeth. Articles
