**Digestive problems in children** can be a cause for concern if it persists....when we think of digestive problems we mostly talk about adults....but for most children, digestive problems are too much caused by an underdeveloped digestive system or poor diets....most people eat the same diet that lacks fresh produce, but contains too many refined foods for children..learn bad eating habits from your parents to poor digestion... Check out 6 types of digestive problems in Children In the following, we discuss 6 types of digestive problems in children: ### 1- Problems of babies Babies who have been exposed to food allergies through breast milk, or babies who have developed atopic diseases such as atopic dermatitis, colic, colitis or diarrhea by exclusively feeding with breast milk, must have a disease related to the protein in the mother's diet. It may not be enough to solve the child's problem alone... When the child is comfortable, it is recommended that the mother use low-risk foods again and expand her diet and monitor her baby for recurrence... ### 2- One of the digestive problems of children is constipation. Constipation is usually not a cause for concern and can be easily prevented by following a healthy diet and exercise... #### Investigating the cause of constipation Constipation is usually caused by a diet that does not contain enough water and fiber to help the bowels move properly... Children who eat a lot of processed foods, cheese, white bread and sweets and meat may be more constipated... Having a healthy diet with high-fiber foods such as fruits, vegetables and whole grains can prevent hard and dry stools... ### 3- Diarrhea Diarrhea is a very common problem in children.. Diarrhea is loose or watery stools (BMS) that are different from a child's normal pattern.. Sometimes the stool contains blood or mucus.. Light stools in children can be difficult to diagnose because in healthy children, the number and consistency of stools is different for example those who have not received solid food.. Frequent stools that appear normal.. Consistency may indicate diarrhea in infants. It is never normal.... #### The effect of diarrhea on the child's health Children with diarrhea may lose appetite, vomit, lose weight, or have a fever. If the diarrhea is severe or prolonged, the child's body becomes dehydrated. Children... Celiac disease occurs when the child's immune system reacts to a type of protein called gluten. Minerals and other nutrients from food are compromised.. This can affect a child's health and development.. Celiac disease cannot be cured, but it can be treated by following a limited gluten-free diet. Gluten is found in: - Joe - Faro - Spelling - Semolina - Incorn - Buckwheat - Durum wheat - Some medicines - Stamp glue (glue) ### 5- Inflammatory bowel disease Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) occurs when the small or large intestine becomes inflamed... When the intestines become inflamed, swollen and painful... This causes symptoms such as bloating, flatulence, stomach cramps and sometimes weight loss... There are two types of IBD: 1.... **Crohn's disease:** Crohn's disease in children can affect any part of the digestive system.... In this disease, the walls of the affected part become thick and a surface like a carpet is created.... Depending on where Crohn's disease occurs, its symptoms can be stomach pain, vomiting, loss of appetite, bloody diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, sore throat... (ulcerative colitis):** Ulcerative colitis is similar to Crohn's disease, but It only affects the large intestine (colon). When a child has ulcerative colitis, the lining of their intestine becomes scarred or torn.. This can lead to stomach pain, bloody diarrhea, bleeding from tears, weight loss, weight loss and #anus. Irritable bowel syndrome, including digestive problems in children... Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a chronic (long-term) disease that affects the small and large intestines.. In irritable bowel syndrome, food moves too slowly, too quickly, or unpredictably through the large intestine.. As a result, the large intestine cannot absorb enough water from children.. IBD It is not known what causes IBS.... Some people confuse IBS with inflammatory bowel disease.... In fact, their symptoms may seem similar at first... However, knowing the difference between IBD and IBS is important to properly diagnose and treat each condition.... #### IBS Treatment You can help treat irritable bowel syndrome with the following 2 methods: 1 .... lifestyle changes to reduce stress Dietary changes to limit foods that can cause flare-ups... Symptoms that appear when a child has serious heartburn Some of the symptoms that indicate that a child's heart pain may be serious include: - Weight loss - Fever - Significant vomiting - You went out - The presence of blood in the stool - Pain in the upper or lower right side of the abdomen Footnote: This general information is a limited summary of diagnostic, therapeutic and/or drug information.
