What is anesthesia?...

Anesthesia or lack of consciousness is a condition in which a person is suddenly unable to respond to stimuli and appears to be asleep. Anesthesia can last from a few seconds (e.g. fainting) or longer.

Persons who faint do not respond to loud noises or shaking....they may even stop breathing or have a weak pulse....this requires immediate attention....the sooner emergency first aid is received, the better the outlook...

What causes anesthesia?.

Anesthesia or lack of consciousness can be due to illness or serious injury or complications from drug use or alcohol abuse.

The common causes of anesthesia are:
  • Traffic accident.
  • Blood loss...
  • Strike the chest or head.
  • Using drugs...
  • Alcohol poisoning...

When sudden changes occur in the body, a person may be temporarily unconscious or incapacitated. Common causes of temporary anesthesia are:

  • Low blood sugar.
  • Low blood pressure...
  • Syncope or loss of consciousness due to lack of blood flow to the brain
  • Nervous syncope or loss of consciousness due to seizure, stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA)..
  • Loss of water.
  • Heart rhythm problems.
  • To force.
  • Breathing...

What are the signs that a person may faint?

Sudden reaction to the answer.

Stuttering...

Heartbeat.

I got confused...

Dizziness or lightheadedness.

How to give first aid to an unconscious person?

if .. If you see a person who is unconscious, take these actions:

Check if the person is breathing If he is not breathing, have someone call 911 immediately and prepare to start CPR.
If he is breathing, put the person on his back..

See more: CardiologistChecking the pulse of an unconscious person

Place the person's feet at least 12 inches above the ground..

Remove the clothes or belt.... If the person does not regain consciousness within one minute
Call 115...

Check the person's airway to make sure there is no obstruction.

Check again to see if he is breathing, coughing or moving.
These are signs of positive circulation... If these signs are not present, perform CPR until emergency personnel arrive..

If heavy bleeding occurs, apply direct pressure to the bleeding area or place a tourniquet on the bleeding area until professional help arrives.

How is cardiopulmonary resuscitation performed?..

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) stands for Cardio Pulmonary Ressuscitation- which is a method of treating a person who has stopped breathing or whose heart has stopped beating.

a, ask: "Are you okay?...." If he does not answer, start CPR:

Make the person sleep on a hard surface.

Kneel next to his neck and shoulders.

Place the heel of your hand on the center of his chest. Place your other hand directly over the first hand and interlock your fingers.. Make sure your elbows are straight and move your shoulders up and down..

Using your upper body weight, push the person's chest straight down about 4cm for children or 5cm for adults... then release the pressure..

Repeat this process up to 100 times per minute... These chest compression movements are called... Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

To minimize possible injuries, only people trained in CPR should perform the cycle of breathing....If you are not trained, perform chest compressions until medical help arrives..

If you are trained in CPR, tilt the person's head back and lift their chin to open the airway.

Pinch the person's nose and cover their mouth with yours, creating an airtight seal.

Breathe for two seconds and wait for the person's chest to rise.

Alternate between periods of compression and breathing at a frequency of 30 compressions and two breaths until help arrives or signs of movement are observed...

TreatmentAnesthesia

If the anesthesia is due to low blood pressure, the doctor will increase the blood pressure by injecting medicine... If the cause is low blood sugar, the unconscious person may need something sweet to eat or inject glucose..

Medical personnel should treat any injury that causes anesthesia.

Complications of anesthesia

Potential side effects of prolonged anesthesia include coma and brain damage A person receiving CPR may have broken ribs from chest compressions. Before the patient leaves the hospital, the doctor will take an X-ray of the chest and treat any possible broken ribs.

Suffocation caused by anesthesia is one of the common side effects of anesthesia.... If food or liquid blocks the airway, it can lead to suffocation during anesthesia.

A few points about the anesthesiologist

An anesthesiologist is a person who performs the task of anesthetizing the patient for surgery in the operating room.... If the surgery requires anesthesia, you will be visited by an anesthesiologist (usually) in the same hospital.... The history of previous diseases, your current condition, drug sensitivity, and other such matters will be checked by the anesthesiologist so that you do not have any problems during anesthesia.... It is very important for you to determine the amount of anesthesia you need.

The anesthesiologist basically does not have a private practice because the visit to the doctor with this skill is done after the diagnosis of the surgical treatment and with the direct visit of the surgeon and in the hospital... That is why you do not see the specialty of anesthesia on the GCORP LLC site.
