Sometimes we may face oral and dental health problems due to neglecting oral hygiene. Here we will introduce some major problems of oral and dental health and explain the solutions to deal with them.
Gingivitis
Non-compliance with oral and dental hygiene causes the formation of plaque around the teeth and increases the sensitivity of the gum tissue. Bleeding gums while brushing teeth is a sign of inflammation of the gums, which gradually improves with oral and dental hygiene.
### yellow teeth
Consumption of drinks such as tea, coffee and soft drinks gradually causes the surface of the teeth to turn yellow. If you cannot reduce the consumption of such drinks, it is recommended to drink them with a straw to avoid direct contact of the liquid with the teeth. However, teeth may lose their luster over time due to the gradual loss of enamel with age. Therefore, it is better to brush your teeth regularly to reduce the process of yellowing of the teeth.
#### Bad breath
There are bacteria inside the oral cavity that cause bad breath. Food residues stuck between the teeth provide favorable conditions for the growth of such bacteria. Other causes of bad breath include dry mouth, bad breath, gum disease, stomach disease, etc., and by drinking plenty of water, brushing and flossing, and brushing the tongue, bad breath can be reduced to some extent.
#### Periodontal disease
Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is more severe than gingivitis. If gingivitis is not taken seriously and left untreated, a more severe form called periodontitis may develop. In this case, the gums separate from the teeth, the bone is destroyed and the teeth may become loose or fall out. You should see a dentist to treat periodontal disease.
Tooth decay is damage to the surface, enamel or tooth crown. When we eat a lot of sugar or the like, the bacteria in our mouths make acids that attack the tooth enamel.
By following a healthy diet and maintaining oral hygiene, tooth decay can be prevented. It should be noted that tooth decay cannot be reversed naturally, and to replace the damaged tissues, you should visit a dentist.
