These glands usually secrete between 2 and 4 cups of saliva per day.... Development of the digestive system Babies don't have a developed digestive system when they are born... so the mouth helps the digestive system grow by producing extra saliva and breaks down nutrients on the way to the stomach... sometimes parents feel that the baby's saliva is a little cold or drippy... this is normal and nothing to worry about... a baby who is teething puts more things in his mouth to relieve his gum pain... increased mouth activity sends a signal to the brain that causes more saliva in babies... in this You will face the baby's drool.... ### 3....
