**In this article, we want to talk about the types of hepatitis and hepatitis itself. Hepatitis is actually an inflammatory liver disease. This disease is caused by a viral infection and starts working in the patient's body. But other causes can play a role in the development of this disease, including the complications that affect the patient's body due to the long-term use of drugs, the use of alcohol, auto-immunity and other hepatitis.**
**Autoimmune hepatitis** **Autoimmune hepatitis occurs when the body's immune system attacks the liver, which causes inflammation of the liver, resulting in hepatitis disease. According to the research of doctors, this disease affects women and on average, it occurs in 72% of women.** **The types of autoimmune hepatitis are as follows?** **Hepatitis type I: In fact, hepatitis type I is the most common type of this disease that will occur at any age.** **Hepatitis type two: This type of hepatitis is more common in children and young people, also other autoimmune diseases may be associated with this type of hepatitis.**
**types of hepatitis** ** Now that you are familiar with hepatitis, we want to talk about its types. Maybe you are one of the people who have heard the name of hepatitis disease and its types. In fact, there are 5 types of hepatitis, which include: hepatitis a, b, c, d and e.** **Hepatitis A** **Group A hepatitis of people who are involved with it is caused acutely in the body and its duration is short compared to other cases and usually does not need treatment. In fact, this hepatitis is caused by HAV virus. This virus is different from other hepatitis viruses in terms of the severity of the disease and the way of transmission.** ** ways of transmission of hepatitis A** 1. **drinking contaminated water** 2. **eating contaminated food** 3. **Using contaminated raw oysters** 4. **Having a relationship with someone who has this virus** 5. **Using vegetables and fruits prepared by an infected person** symptoms of hepatitis A** **Infection with this virus is asymptomatic in children under 6 years old, but it occurs in adolescents and adults with mild symptoms. These symptoms can include the following.** 1. Symptoms such as fever, body aches and fatigue 2. **Abdominal pains** 3. **light color of feces** 4. Dark urine 5. **false anorexia** 6. **Jaundice in the face and skin** 7. **Weight loss** **Underlying factors in hepatitis type A** 1. **If you live in areas where hepatitis A is common** 2. **If you work in child care centers** 3. Living with someone who has hepatitis A 4. **Having sex with a person who has this disease** 5. **If you have hemophilia and a blood coagulation disorder** 6. **Suffering from AIDS** 7. **use of drugs**
**How to diagnose hepatitis A** ** To diagnose this type of infection, a blood test is used. Viruses that are of the human hepatitis type have similar symptoms. In this case, the specialist cannot diagnose the disease and hepatitis factors based on the symptoms. The diagnosis can be detected by special tests. This test is performed to accurately diagnose hepatitis A. One of the tests that are performed is the test of the patient's antibody or the immune response of the person infected with hepatitis A proteins.** **Note: The vaccines that are injected for hepatitis type A do not contain live virus. This vaccine contains inactive hepatitis type A viruses. This vaccine is used to stimulate the body to produce antibodies in the patient's body. The proteins that are responsible for fighting and dealing with this virus prevent foreign agents and hepatitis A infection. This vaccine is used to prevent disease in children aged 12 months and older.** **hepatitis A treatment** 1. **drinking enough fluids** 2. **Not drinking alcohol** 3. **Having a healthy diet**
**Hepatitis B** ** This type of hepatitis is caused by an infectious disease in the body. Contamination with this virus causes serious problems in the patient's body, including pancreatic cancer and liver cancer.** **This type of hepatitis is referred to as a short-term infection and only makes the person sick for a short time, which is referred to as acute hepatitis B. But in some people, this disease manifests itself in a different way, that is, the virus will be in the patient's body for life, which is called chronic hepatitis B. It should be noted that patients should know that if this disease remains in the patient's body for a long time, it will become chronic.** **Chronic hepatitis B disease occurs in whom?** **One of the important causes of hepatitis is age, if the younger the age, the more people are affected by chronic hepatitis B. Now, if this disease occurs in adulthood, those who suffer from this disease will be of an acute type and after some time the person will regain his health.** **Symptoms of Hepatitis B** **Those who suffer from acute type of hepatitis usually appear without symptoms in the patient's body, and in some cases, this disease starts to work in the person's body after 3 months. Acute type of hepatitis usually lasts for a few weeks or about 6 months**
** Among the symptoms of this disease, the following can be mentioned** 1. **Having pain in the joints** 2. **Abdominal pain** 3. **Having nausea and vomiting** 4. ** Occurrence of turbidity in urine ** 5. **yellowing of the skin or eyes** 6. **Loss of appetite** 7. **Having fever and fatigue in the patient's body**
**Necessary measures to prevent hepatitis B** **Perform universal vaccination** **In order to prevent hepatitis B disease, this vaccine is injected into babies within 24 hours of birth. This type of vaccine is the basis of hepatitis B prevention. If children and adolescents who are less than 18 years old and have not succeeded in using the vaccine can receive this vaccine, according to research conducted in many countries, according to vaccination, the rate of chronic infection has been reduced to less than 1%.** **Implementation of blood safety strategies** **In addition to the vaccination of newborns mentioned above, using blood immunity strategies is very important in preventing hepatitis B.**
**Hepatitis C** **One of the most common types of hepatitis in Iran is hepatitis (B, C). Factors such as the use of certain drugs, obesity, fat consumption, alcohol consumption, body toxins, or an attack on the body's immune system cause hepatitis C in the body and involve the patient's liver. In fact, the liver is the largest organ in the body and is responsible for energy storage, detoxification, fighting infections, and stopping bleeding. Another name for hepatitis C, which is referred to as (HCV).** **Hepatitis C infection attacks the liver and causes cirrhosis of the liver in the patient's body. When this virus enters the body, it is unknown and does not show any symptoms in the body of the infected person.** **If those who have just contracted this disease and are unaware of their disease, they can transmit this disease to other people. If you are a person who is suspected of being infected with this virus or if you have detected the symptoms of this disease in your body, do not worry about transmitting this disease to your friends and relatives because this disease can be prevented if it is diagnosed quickly.** **symptoms of hepatitis C** **As mentioned, this disease is often asymptomatic, and in most cases, it is diagnosed by chance during routine tests or blood donation, etc. The first symptom can be due to high liver enzymes, and other symptoms include the following.** 1. **Anorexia** 2. **fatigue** 3. **fever and vomiting** 4. **Muscle pains** 5. **Abdominal pain on the right side** 6. **dark color of urine** 7. **swelling in the legs and abdomen** 8. **Weight loss**
**The cause of hepatitis C** **Hepatitis C is caused by the hepatitis C virus in a person's body. This virus can be transmitted to other uninfected people through the blood of an infected person. Hepatitis C or HCV exists in several different forms, which are referred to as genotypes.** **How to contract hepatitis C** 1. Contact with the blood of an infected person 2. **Relationship with unrestrained people** 3. **Use of shared needles in drug addicts** 4. **Transmission through an infected donor organ** **hepatitis C treatment** 1. **If a person detects that he has this disease, he can use one of the following methods for treatment, depending on the severity and stage of his disease.** 2. **use of antiviral drugs** 3. **Liver transplant** 4. **Vaccination**
**Hepatitis D** **Hepatitis D, which is also referred to as delta, in humans, infection caused by the hepatitis D virus occurs only in the presence of infections caused by hepatitis B. This type of hepatitis is very rare, but it is the most severe type of viral hepatitis. This type of hepatitis is more severe in people with chronic hepatitis B. Hepatitis D or delta can be prevented by using hepatitis B vaccination.** ** ways of transmission of hepatitis D** **A person with hepatitis D may be a carrier of hepatitis B and D. These viruses are present in the saliva, blood, vaginal secretions and sperm of an infected person. The mode of transmission is through sexual contact with an infected person or during childbirth through an infected mother to her child.** **symptoms of hepatitis D** 1. **These symptoms may occur in some cases** 2. **yellowing of the eyes and face** 3. **having pain in the joints** 4. **Heartache** 5. Anorexia, vomiting 6. **Feeling extremely weak and tired**
**Hepatitis D diagnosis** **The treating doctor can find out about this disease by using tests and clinical examinations. Another way to diagnose is to perform a test on the liver function, which can find out the presence of the disease in the person's body. Chronic hepatitis can be detected by taking samples, and its severity can be graded using sampling, in this case, it can be prevented by using anti-hepatitis B vaccines.** **Actually, this type of hepatitis cannot be cured, and if it is diagnosed in time, damage to the liver can be prevented to a large extent. If this disease is not treated and prevented, its complications will be more severe. These complications can include:** 1. **Liver failure, liver cirrhosis and eventually liver cancer.** 2. **If you see the mentioned signs of hepatitis D in your body, you should see a gastroenterologist. In the first step, the doctor will take a blood test from you for accurate diagnosis. By doing this test, anti-hepatitis D antibodies can be identified in the blood.** 3. **If there are antibodies in the patient's blood, it means that you have contracted this disease.**
**Hepatitis E** **This type of infection is acute and can be resolved by itself, so far there is no specific drug treatment for this type of hepatitis, but the advice given to these people is to rest enough, use fluids and get enough nutrients, and not using alcohol helps in improving the treatment process.**
